When you join the CMA you also join the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA). Your CMA application will serve as application to the OSMA and we include their billing with ours.
The membership application process takes approximately three months. We will, however, add your name to the mailing list upon receipt of your completed application and dues payment. Once the Columbus Medical Association (CMA) Board approves your membership application, you will receive a letter of acceptance and a packet of additional information.
The CMA & OSMA offer introductory rates for the first and second year of membership. Your membership is fully active in the third year and dues remain consistent unless you are notified otherwise.
In addition, the CMA can certify you to the American Medical Association. If you have never been a member of the AMA, the first year AMA dues payment is $210. Dues are $420 every year thereafter. Add this amount to the dues payment above and we will complete your application to the AMA.
